Coarse and Carp Fishing Ponds Mansfield Nottingham
A
day ticket for Woodend Fishery is £6.00 (+£2 for an extra rod) .
A large car park is available for customers.
The
Coarse Fishery is open all year round
with no closed season. There are 5 lakes
set in lush green surroundings. The ponds
are all stocked with tench, roach, bream,
rudd and all the carp family. Suitable
for serious fishermen and the occasional
fisherman intent on having an enjoyable
day fishing.
There
is a fishing bailiff on site to ensure
all rules are adhered to without any disturbance
to the enjoyment of fishing. Regular open
matches are held throughout the year.
Facilities for disabled fishermen are
available - please telephone to reserve
these pegs.

The
Donut Pond
A 30 peg pond stocked with all the
above species with 10lbs –
15lbs fish being caught and match
bags up to 40lbs.
The
Kidney Pond
Small and kidney shaped, holds a
good supply of fantastic silver
fish and carp 17lb+.
The
Bottom Pond
(produced 20 years ago) is a secluded
pond surrounded with trees. The
carp are recorded to be 25lbs+ with
plenty of 2lb and 3lb roach and
bream being caught on a regular
basis.
The
Match Pond
Holds all the carp family. Next
door to this pond is the
Stock Pond and the future
Specimen Pond(currently
under construction).

Please
Note: During hot weather periods
ponds will be closed intermittently for
aeration. This is to prevent algae growth
and increase oxygen levels.
Cat
and dog food are banned on our lakes due
to the oily residue which they create
on the waters.
There
are no bins on site due to environmental
issues so PLEASE TAKE ALL YOUR LITTER
HOME WITH YOU. The Blue bins on site are
net dip only.
